About the Organization:
This endeavour to enrich rural architecture stems from the realization by the initiator over the years that a vast majority of the population of our region are being deprived of advanced architectural knowledge and the services of the architect, subsidized by clientele as an urban form maker. Since the advent of formal architectural education, the focus of the schools too has been the built urban environment. Contributing further to the degradation of the rural fabric has been the flow of the worst elements and icons from the cities due to the misconception of the village nouveau riche.
